The MLA along with the victim was taken to a hospital earlier in the day for a medical check-up and now the CBI is taking Kuldeep Singh Sengar to the court.

According to CBI sources, she narrated her ordeal and sequence of events that unfolded since June 4 a year ago when she was allegedly raped by Sengar.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is likely to conduct a Narco test on rape accused Uttar Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislator Kuldeep Singh after his statements were found contradictory in the Unnao rape case.

Earlier on Sunday, Sengar's woman aide Shashi Singh was sent to a four-day police custody.

The victim and her family was brought to Lucknow on Saturday and the girl were sent for medical examination after which they were asked to return to their village.

According to the CBI FIR, Singh has been named as an accomplice of BJP lawmaker Kuldeep Singh Sengar, who was arrested on Friday. The victim had charged gangrape on her in her complaint. The police, however, remained non-committal on the arrest of the two any time soon.

After a massive public outrage over the inaction of UP Police, the case was handed over to the CBI on April 12.

The second pertains to rioting and the alleged killing of the victim's father in judicial custody in Lucknow.

A senior CBI officer said, "we will examine the FIR and charge sheet filed by the UP police previous year to find out if there were any lapses, whether she was sexually assaulted by more men and if there were any attempts from police to save any one". The third case pertains to the allegations against the victim's father, who was arrested under the Arms Act and put in jail by the police, where he died.

On November 16, the CBI summoned D W Negi, former Superintendent of Police Shimla who was initially supervising the investigation in the rape and murder case before the setting up of a Special Investigation Team (SIT).

The victim and his family members had tried to commit suicide outside the residence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
