The Fairview Lady Aggies jumped out to a fast 2-0 start on Hanceville in the top of the first of Wednesday afternoon's first matchup. With two outs in the bottom of the sixth, she launched a grand slam that over the center field fence to give the Dragons a four-run cushion. In the top of the first inning, Seton Hall walked in the first run. Ellazar, who finished a triple shy of the cycle, would come through with a single to load the bases in her ensuing at bat.

WashU posted an 11-4 victory in game one, and then had a season-high 15 hits in an 11-3 win in game two. Breeanna Graston's groundout enabled two runners to score. With senior Emily Anderson in the circle for the Jackets, the Panthers dropped a double into shallow right field to put a runner on second. Junior Katie Krzus led off the inning with a single up the middle to land herself at first. After Howard scored another run in the fourth inning, Drexel came back and scored three runs of their own: freshman Elena Woulfe hit a double to drive in sophomore Taylor Kent and junior Jenelle Ladrido, and after a wild pitch, Woulfe scored herself to seal the game at 6-5.

In the second game, it was a back and forth early on as both teams scored in the first, but the Spartans striked hard as junior Nic Lacayo doubled down the right field line that would send home Bechina.

Joining in with the cloth clobbering was Maddie Swart, who was 2-for-3 with two runs and an RBI.

The Panthers added seven more runs to their lead in the fifth inning. The other hits were a home run by Riley and singles by Edwards, Conner, Lose and Hinker.

"If you don't score runs, you don't win games", said head coach Margo Jonker.
