Playable Ewoks are coming to Star Wars Battlefront II

Star Wars Battlefront 2 Ewok Battle

A new game mode is on its way to Star Wars Battlefront II and it thrusts players into the thick of the battle between Ewoks and Stormtroppers while returning to the forest moon of Endor. There will be more than 50 skins added to the game, including some new looks tied to the Endor content.

The update also brings with it a new, limited-time multiplayer mode called Ewok Hunt, which pits Ewoks against Stormtroopers. It sounds like a lot of fun and nearly like a horror film for the hopeful survivors to have knee-high, furry Odd-Jobs running around with all of their bloodlust.

No word yet on whether these Ewoks will try to eat the stormtroopers, too.

As an Ewok, you'll use spears, Wisties, and other abilities to take out stormtroopers, and every fallen Imperial soldier respawns as an Ewok.

3 changes Manchester City need for a win against Tottenham Hotspur
Guardiola has never lost four in a row as manager but he faces a hard test this weekend with a trip to Wembley to face Tottenham. City would love to replicate that result and be able to lock up the league title after failing to do so last week.

Players might remember that the original version of Battlefront 2 by Pandemic Studios had a "Hunt" mode, where players could take control of the native species of planets like Endor, Kashyyyk, and Naboo. If the Empires forces have been completely eliminated, the Ewoks win and their celebration can begin. The Crystals represent the micro-transaction system, as you will be able to buy them with real money.

EA has already detailed its plans for Battlefront II's revamped progression system, this time removing any pay-to-win mechanics.

Star Wars Battlefront II is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. Appearances can also be bought using credits which are earned when playing the game. The first is in the same style as the Night on Endor Update that we're releasing on April 18th, and the second is Seasons.

Our spotlight this month falls onto VicenteProD, who has been creating some truly remarkable Star Wars Battlefront II screenshots. Seasons will revolve around specific themes; the studio hasn't revealed what Season Two's theme will be, but focusing on the upcoming Solo film is a possibility.
