Northeast Ohio weather: Windy with snow showers

Friday Early Weather

Dry Saturday with increasing clouds, rain expected

As the storm exits Friday, temperatures will drop below average Friday afternoon before rebounding over the weekend.

It has been a busy morning across Central NY with strong winds causing tree damage as well as power outages. Mid 40s to mid 60s through the day with wind gusts to 35 miles per hour will have you grabbing a jacket. Wednesday night's lows will be in the upper 30s to lower 40s.

There will be more thundery showers in the days ahead, the Meteorological Service Singapore (MSS) said in its fortnightly weather forecast yesterday. Thankfully the heavy rain has exited but now an upper level trough is bringing clouds, windy conditions, and falling temperatures.

West winds will stay gusty before diminishing this afternoon.

Expect readings to slowly warm through the upper 70s by Tuesday with mid-80s resuming by Wednesday, lasting into the weekend.

Winds will continue to increase throughout the afternoon.

The Eastern Colorado surface low will track quickly east across Kansas Tuesday night and into Northern Missouri by Wednesday morning.

Quiet weather hangs around through Friday, mostly sunny with low to middle 60's both Thursday and Friday.

A cold front may sweep through on Friday or Friday night which could generate a few showers at that time. Our high temperatures on Saturday will be in the 50s with sunshine mixing in with some clouds.
