The Moto G6 Plus will be offered in Indigo and Gold, along with a dual-lens camera on the rear and a fingerprint sensor on the front.
The Moto G6 Play meanwhile is rumoured to feature a 5.7-inch HD IPS display, Snapdragon 427 processor with 2GB RAM, 16GB on-board storage, along with a 4000mAh battery. The images were posted on Instagram and were first spotted by SlashLeaks, which also reported that the Moto G6-series is based on the Moto X4 design. However, before the official announcement, the phone has been listed on Amazon in the USA and Canada, revealing the key specifications and price of the Moto G6 32GB model. The highlight of the G6 Play will be the fingerprint scanner placement; It's housed inside the Motorola dimple at the back, which is nothing new, but manufacturers have long forgotten this. However, a new hand-on image of Moto G6 Play has surfaced on the internet ahead of its official launch. Also, both the rear and front cameras seem to come with LED flash. All the three Moto G6 smartphones appear to feature edge-to-edge elongated displays with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It will be fueled by a 4,000mAh battery with Turbo Power fast charging technology. According to the renders, the Moto G6 will be offered in a choice of black, silver, rose gold, and indigo colour options. The specs are in line with past rumours about the G6 Play so it's fairly certain these are final. Also, the Android Oreo running device will come in two storage variants - 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB.
