The Pacers just stomped the Cavs in Cleveland

Oladipo was the best player on the court Sunday, when IN beat Cleveland 98-80 to go up 1-0 IN their first-round series. The Pacers forced 16 Cavs turnovers, and held Cleveland to just 38.5 shooting from the field.

In the first quarter, the Cavaliers made only five of their 20 attempts from the field, and that included an 0-for-8 showing from three-point range, while the Pacers made 12 baskets, including three triples from Oladipo, on the way to a 33-14 lead after the first quarter.

LeBron James had won 21 straight first-round games.

The Pacers have been running hot for a while now and they really came out firing in a big statement win in Game 1. Overall, the Pacers will be satisfied with their performance as they simply outhustled the Cavaliers on both ends of the floor and there was just no running them down. He was selected this year to his first All-Star Game while fulfilling much of the promise that made him the No. 2 overall pick by Orlando in the 2013 draft - after Gilbert's Cavs surprisingly opted for Anthony Bennett at No. 1, only for him to become a major bust - and he led a Pacers squad ticketed for a berth in the draft lottery to 48 wins. "I expect the same thing in Wednesday's game". Are this year's Pacers ready to take the next step they couldn't with Paul George?

The Boston Celtics had five players with at least 19 points to their name as they beat the Milwaukee Bucks 113-107. I know that he will rally his teammates and make sure that he makes a deep run this postseason. IN jumped to a 19 point lead after the opening quarter and kept Cleveland at arm's length as the Cavaliers didn't draw closer than seven the rest of the way. Will the Cavaliers have an answer for Oladipo and the Pacers? If anyone thought his regular season was a mirage that would dissolve once the playoffs started, they're sorely mistaken.

With 1:06 remaining in the third quarter the Cavaliers came closest to obtaining the lead for the first time of the contest, cutting the Pacers lead to seven points. Cleveland was down 19 after the opening quarter and despite their best efforts, couldn't throw a serious scare into IN the rest of the way.

The closing ceremony included live acts by Australian pop stars Guy Sebastian, Samantha Jade, Dami Im and The Veronicas. "It is also time to begin to invest in our athletes if we want to do well in sports".

"We just had a number of (shots) go in and out", Love said.

"We were taking the ball out slow, we were getting the ball up the court slow and they were aggressive on the defensive end".

LeBron James figured he had experienced everything in 12 postseasons. "We'll make some adjustments and be a lot better".

"We expected them to come out and establish themselves in last night's game", McMillan said. As it turns out, IN could hardly have done better, and it is the owner's heavily favored team that will have to give something much closer to its best to wrest the series back from a fired-up Oladipo and his teammates. They have LeBron, after all, and they were on national television 39 times. "We've got to match their physicality starting off and just play with a better pace offensively".

Oladipo did his part, scoring 32 points, grabbing 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals in the victory on Sunday.

The worst example of the ineptitude was power forward Jeff Green, who went 0-for-7 from the floor - including 0-for-3 from behind the 3-point arc - for zero points and a starting lineup-worst minus-15 rating in almost 27 minutes played.
