Harry Kane injury: Tottenham star out for MONTHS, World Cup dream in jeopardy

HARRY KANE will be out of action for at least a month after a scan revealed he suffered ankle ligament damage at Bournemouth on Sunday.

Kane lasted just 34 minutes of Spurs' 4-1 away win over Bournemouth at the weekend before he crumpled under a challenge from Cherries' goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.

The update means that Kane will miss England's upcoming internationals, but has a chance of making the World Cup.

However, prior to his FA Cup hat-trick at Rochdale, he had scored just two goals in 26 appearances in a tough start to life in North London.

After the game, manager Mauricio Pochettino admitted he was "concerned" by the issue, sparking fears that Kane's club season could be over, while his participation in England's World Cup campaign in Russian Federation was also thrown into doubt.
