Coming in April to Windows® and Mac® PCs; Windows, iOS, and Android™ tablets; and mobile phones, The Witchwood card packs will be winnable in Hearthstone's Arena mode, and players can purchase them with in-game gold or real money at the same prices as Hearthstone'sother card packs. Players can pre-purchase a special Witchwood 50-pack card bundle, which comes with 20 bonus packs and the "In the Dark Wood" card, for free. Themed around the haunted city of Gilneas, players will be able to acquire 135 brand new cards in order to fight off the spirits of the Witchwood.
Some of the new cards utilize a new keyword, Echo, that allows them to be played again and again (mana limits allowing); others will feature a new Rush keyword. For the rest of your turn, you can play these echoes as long as you have the mana. They replace your Hero Power with a new one and grant you additional armor and other benefits. This is different from a current keyword, Charge, which lets minions immediately attack minions and Heroes. Echo and Rush will allow for much more malleable decks and counterplay.
English Premier League Report: Arsenal v Watford 11 March 2018
We are in a job where we have to get the fans on our side and do absolutely everything to do it, to achieve it. Victory over Watford was Arsenal's first Premier League win for five weeks.
The Witchwood will also see the addition of the Monster Hunt mode, which is similar to the Dungeon Run from Kobolds & Catacombs. Players can choose between four unique hero heroes to take down eight bosses in this mode, and they can upgrade their decks after each battle.
Baku the Mooneater is a 9 mana, 7/8 minion that will buff your hero power if your deck has cards that only cost an odd amount of mana. Called Monster Hunt, players will be tasked with venturing deeper and deeper into The Witchwood to cleanse the forest of darkness.
As for the cards within Hearthstone's The Witchwood expansion, players will have to wait. Few details are available on that right now, but it sounds functionally identical with some thematic changes which I AM A-OK WITH! Blizzard will reveal them slowly between now and launch, likely with the help of dozens of Hearthstone community members and content creators. As always, stay tuned for more information regarding Hearthstone and general gaming news!
