Written by Bouchard with Josh Gad and Nora Smith, the show is about a family of caretakers who save the famous park as well as the world. The new network gave a commitment for two seasons, with a total of 26 episodes.

This groovy new project will be called Central Park, and it'll be Apple's intriguing first effort in the animation realm.

Bouchard and Gad executive produce alongside Brillstein Entertainment Partners, with Smith serving as consulting producer.

The Crown's lead actress Claire Foy paid less than male co-star
That's the correct response, but Foy is no longer the Queen wearing the titular crown, so it's not like it does her much good. Michelle Williams, billed as the film's lead actress, earned a fraction of what co-star Mark Wahlberg did for reshoots.

The tech company has given a two-season order for the show, which is named Central Park. "Central Park" will join an untitled thriller from M. Night Shyamalan, a comedy series starring Kristen Wiig, Steven Spielberg's Amazing Stories anthology, and more.

Bouchard will remain busy; not only is Bob's Burgers continuing at FOX, but a movie has been in development for a while.

The series was originally planned to join the roster of great animated series on FOX, but after FOX passed, a bidding war followed with Netflix, Hulu and Apple.
