The meeting was attended by representatives of the Congress.

He said the BJP MPs of Delhi and the senior leaders have twice met the Monitoring Committee Members and appealed to them to stop sealing in Delhi but the Chief Minister stayed away.

The sealing drive - being carried out by the three BJP-led city municipal corporations under the guidance of the Monitoring Committee - has been launched against the business establishments using residential properties for commercial purposes and the ones which have not paid conversion charges.

After the meeting, Mr Maken said it was a fruitful discussion on the issue.

Addressing the media separately, Sisodia and Maken also attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for not taking part in the meeting, despite an invitation from Kejriwal.

Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal shot back, asking the Congress chief to raise the "sealing issue" in Parliament and force the BJP to take steps to stop the drive, which he said his party would support.

"Nobody wants to solve our problems, we are being used as a tool to play politics, had it been otherwise, the situation could have been different", he said.

"In today's meeting, it was decided that the all-party delegation will meet the monitoring committee to find a solution to the sealing issue", Mr Sisodia said. From AAP, among those who were present included AAP's Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh and MLA Somnath Bharti. His tweet said, "Due to the fake fights and the collusion between BJP and AAP, traders are facing a lot of damage".

The Municipal Corporations have undertaken the sealing drive following directions of the Supreme Court appointed committee previous year.
