Oxfam is accused of concealing the findings of an investigation into the claims that Roland van Hauwermeiren used prostitutes at a villa rented for him by the charity after the country's 2010 natural disaster.
Haiti's president condemned the British charity Oxfam on Tuesday for a sexual misconduct scandal, describing the alleged misbehavior of aid workers handling natural disaster recovery efforts as a violation of basic human decency.
Mark Goldring, Oxfam's chief executive, denied the allegations that the charity covered up any information unearthed in internal investigations.
"Clearly Oxfam have a long way to go before they can regain the trust of the British public".
"Those of us who work there try so hard to make money for Oxfam so it's the most unfortunate blow", she said.
"I think taxpayers will be appalled aid money may have been used in such an terrible way".
The Oxfam cover-up of senior staff involved in prostitution and orgies with Haitian girls, some of whom may have been minors, is a huge scandal in Britain right now.
Senegalese singer Baaba Maal and British actress Minnie Driver have also quit as Oxfam ambassadors after the scandal erupted early this month.
International Development Secretary Penny Mordaunt said funding would not be considered until her department is satisfied that Oxfam can meet the "high standards" expected.

In a statement, Ms Mordaunt said that following a meeting with Oxfam bosses on Monday, the charity "has agreed to withdraw from bidding for any new United Kingdom government funding until DfID (the Department for International Development) is satisfied that they can meet the high standards we expect of our partners".
"In taking these actions I am very aware that there are hundreds of good, courageous and compassionate people working for Oxfam".
Oxfam will triple funding to more than $1 million (800,000 euros) to improve safeguarding, while also doubling the number of staff in this area and increasing investment in gender training.

The NCA has been "closely monitoring" allegations of overseas abuse and has said it has a range of powers to investigate certain sexual offences committed outside the UK. Lan Mercado, Oxfam's regional director for Asia, told the BBC that she was aware of sexual abuse claims involving staff in Asia before she started as director in 2016 but that the scale was "not comparable" to that in Haiti.
