In a conversation with fellow Big Brother contestant Ross Matthews, a former correspondent for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Manigault Newman said: "It's not my circus, not my monkeys".

Reality TV star Omarosa Manigault Newman, a former aide to President Donald Trump, returned to the set of "Celebrity Big Brother" on Saturday after she suffered an asthma attack Friday night, CBS News reported.

Omarosa denies that and says she resigned.

Manigault was formerly the White House Office of Public Liaison, until she left the position amid controversy late a year ago. Asked by Matthews if the nation should be anxious, she nodded yes, adding tearfully, "It's not going to be OK". "It has been very, very challenging being the only African-American woman in the senior staff", she said at the time.

Since appearing on Celebrity Big Brother, Omarosa has savaged Trump on a number of occasions - even saying she would never support his presidency again.

"Omarosa was sacked three times on The Apprentice, and this was the fourth time we let her go", deputy White House press secretary Raj Shah said in response to Manigault Newman's statements. In December, the White House announced she had resigned.

As for the state of the country under the Trump administration, Omarosa claimed that 'it's not going to be okay.

'I tried to be that person [for him] and then all the people around him attacked me - was like, 'Keep her away.

She said that she tried to stop the president tweeting, without success.
