Key Moto G6 Play specs confirmed in benchmark, G6 family codenames also revealed

There's a lot of hype for the affordable Moto G6 series and a new leak sheds more light on the upcoming Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus and Moto G6 Play smartphones. It will be coming in five color options according to the leaks and the colors are; Deep Indigo, Nimbus, Dark Lake, Gold, and Silver. Also, the company announced the comeback smartphone in the Moto X series which was once the flagship series from the company and the latest smartphone in the Moto X series is the Moto X4.

Folks at Android Headlines are of the opinion that the device, when it finally arrives would sport dual-camera on the back and that the snappers will be accompanied by a dual-LED flash that would find its slot just below the cams. Nothing more special about Moto G6 Plus will not add a USB - C port, fast charging, Android OS 8 Oreo module LTE.

The listing shows off that the new Moto G6 Play smartphone would be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 430 Chipset. The device comes with a 4,000 mAh of battery capacity.

The Moto G6 Play also scored 472 and 1801 points in Geekbench's single and multi-core tests respectively. Several reports have revealed the codenames - Ashley, Blaine and Teller - of the smartphones.
