Launching a scathing attack at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his allegations of rampant corruption in Karnataka, Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Monday urged Mr. Modi to come clean on the alleged multifold increase in the business fortunes of BJP national president Amit Shah's son, Jay Shah. BJP Defence Minister says "Pakistan will pay the price".

"Just speaking about Hindutva or nationalism is not enough, bring it into practice and only then will you respect that blood", he further said.

Gandhi said, "Modiji had gone to Paris in France Modiji personally changed the contract". He said, "The way is that to take possession, the way is that there is an institution and come and capture it, it is against allowing any institution to serve the people of India and let it be controlled by the people of India".

"If Bangalore is on its feet today, one of the reasons for it is HAL". Why did you do this to give it to your friend?

"With an RSS functionary posted as an officer on special duty in every central ministry, the BJP's parent organisation is guiding the NDA government in framing policies and programmes for the country", Gandhi said at an interaction with entreprenuers and businessmen in north Karnataka's Kalaburgi town, about 630km from Bengaluru. Why did you do this to profit your friend?

He said wherever the BJP was governing, it planted people who adhered to its ideology.

US Ladies Beat Russia, Safe Spot in Ice Hockey Semifinals
Since the inaugural Women's World Hockey Championships in 1990 every tournament has been won by either the US or Canada. With the win, the Americans remained undefeated going into their early Olympic showdown with Canada, which is also 2-0.

Gandhi began his four-day tour of northern Karnataka districts of Ballari, Koppal, Raichur, Kalaburagi and Bidar during which he would travel in a bus and address public rallies, hold roadshows and interact with farmers and others, as part of the "yatra".

In his speech, Rahul Gandhi questioned the Modi government's record in governance. On one side is (B S) Yeddyurappa who has been to the jail.

The BJP, which is going all out to unseat the Congress in the state, is projecting state veteran 74-year-old Yeddyurappa as its chief ministerial candidate. "The Minister is not operating on his own", he said.

Rahul and the chief minister had suddenly remembered that they were Hindus.

"... You (Modi) drive the vehicle by looking in the rear view mirror, which will cause accidents". He said, "at some places, they kill Dalits, minorities and tribals".

The Congress president assured professionals and entrepreneurs that the specifics of GST-related problems would be raised in Parliament, if they provided details on the matter.
