"John Geddert has been suspended under the interim measures provisions of Section 10.5 of USA Gymnastics' Bylaws", USA Gymnastics announced. It did not disclose its reasons for suspending Geddert. He was sentenced to 60 years in prison after pleading guilty to federal child pornography charges. The 54-year-old could face life in prison when he is sentenced. "But it's been a lot of sad days for me in a lot of ways and I'm gonna try to do everything I can to help the survivors and help us grow from this and learn from it and move forward".

"Larry, you do realise now that we, this group of women you so heartlessly abused over such a long period of time, are now a force and you are nothing".

USA Gymnastics has been under fire from some of the biggest names in the sport - Olympic gold medalists Aly Raisman, McKayla Maroney and Jordyn Wieber - who say they were molested by Nassar. The sentencing hearing will resume Tuesday. Nassar has already admitted to sexually abusing the athletes when they were children and adolescents, and then covering up the abuse by pretending it was part of a medical treatment. "I can tell you that patients of former MSU physician Larry Nassar will not be billed", the spokesperson said.

At the start of the hearing officials from US gymnastics were sometimes seen in the court room, but as it progressed - and the anger grew - they were nowhere to be seen.

"Step down and put somebody in the position that ya know, we can learn to trust again and clean house of all the board of trustees and put people in there that we know can do the job properly, cuz she's not doing her job properly", she said. The ranch was expanded over the years, and it was designated as a U.S. Olympic Training Site in 2011.
