Star Wars fans are looking forward to seeing the next spin-off film, Solo: A Star Wars Story later this year, and to celebrate the new year, director Ron Howard shared a new behind-the-scenes look from the film. A lot of this can be credited to John Williams, who has composed all eight of the main Star Wars films.
The 85-year-old Williams stated on the project, "The present plan is that I'm writing a theme for Han Solo, and John Powell is going to write the score, which he'll do brilliantly". The primary composer for the movie is still John Powell (How to Train Your Dragon), as announced in July. "John will complete the score".

"His assignment is something I'm very happy about", he added. "He will write all the rest of the themes and all of the other material, which I'm going to be very anxious to hear", Wiliams said. He additionally received Oscar nominations for Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, and The Force Awakens (as well as various other wins and noms for his non-Star Wars work). The main theme that plays during the opening of every Star Wars film (when the opening crawl plays) is probably one of the most recognisable tunes in cinema.
"Solo: A Star Wars Story" will feature Alden Ehrenreich as the young Han Solo in the movie, alongside an all-star cast that includes Game Of Thrones' Emilia Clarke, Woody Harrelson, Thandie Newton, Donald Glover and 'Fleabag " s Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
Solo: A Star Wars Story will tell the origins of fan-favorite Star Wars character, Han Solo. The film is scheduled for release on May 25. Solo will be James Powell's first Star Wars movie, but he has provided the score for a number of films.
