Sennheiser HD 820 goes all out with Gorilla Glass back at CES

Sennheiser has designed its new earbuds to take on Apple's BeatX in-ear headphones. As the numbers at the end of each model indicate, the HDV 820 is a companion product to the HD 820 headphones. Sennheiser has also launched the HD 820 which will be available in early summers this year, with a price tag of $2,399.95 (roughly INR 1, 52,400).

Sennheiser is redefining the limits of audiophile sound - with the new HD 820 which will first be showcased at CES. With its consistently symmetrical signal processing and extremely low harmonic distortion, the amplifier ensures unadulterated and flawless music enjoyment when paired with audiophile headphones. While the Bluetooth earphones are expected to be priced at $100, the HD 820s will cost about $2,400.

Of course, while audiophile-grade sound is great, there are times when you're on the move and need something a little more portable to keep your music going. At CES, Sennheiser will also be showing off their closed-back HD 820 headphones and their range of wireless headphones, including the new CX 6.00BT. For an optimized fit, it features a cable divider for better adjustment and comes provided with a choice of four sizes of ear adapters to ensure excellent attenuation of ambient noise.

Priced at just $99.95 (€99), the company says the earphones deliver "clear, detailed sound with an enhanced bass response". The cans are wired with silver-cladded OFC cables and feature gold-plated plugs. Alongside a three-button remote for controlling music and calls, the headphones provide convenient voice prompts notifying the user of battery status.

The company claims that the CX 6.00BT delivers six-hours of battery life and comes with the fast charging option.

According to Gadget 360, "Sennheiser has provided Qualcomm apt-X low latency compatibility with the CX 6.00BT that enhance gaming and video watching experience by keeping the audio transmission in sync with the visuals". You can connect and pair two devices simultaneously to these earbuds.

The new CX 6.00BT will be available from January 2018 for 99 EUR/99.95 United States dollars (approximately Rs. 6,340). The experience is provided by Sennheiser's AMBEO 3D immersive audio technology which allows the user to capture and listen to binaural audio recordings. Unfortunately, if you're curious to learn when you can bring this home, you might be in for a long wait.
