Rob Lowe Says Bella Thorne's Attitude About California Mudslides is 'Why People Hate Celebrities'

Bella Thorne's bf is leaping to defend what might seem indefensible, and demanding Rob Lowe back off his girl. despite her totally tone deaf comment about the deadly Montecito mudslides.

Thorne, who starred in the TV series "My Own Worst Enemy", tweeted her gripe about the U.S. Highway 101 closure on Wednesday. Bella, I'm sorry you were inconvenienced.

Earlier on Thursday, Lowe expressed grief for the the lives lost during the catastrophic natural disaster facing Southern California-which he said included some friends.

The 53-year-old actor shared a screenshot on his Instagram of the 20-year-old's now-deleted tweet that read, "F-k you 101 to santa barbra [sic]".

'I'm sure all of the people who died from the mudslides are very concerned with your irritation of missing your boyfriend's concert, ' a third said.

Lowe posted a screengrab of Thorne's Twitter message about her frustrated trip to Mod Sun's gig on his Instagram page, and wrote: "This attitude is why people hate celebrities/Hollywood".

Thorne began acting when she was 6-years-old and is most famously known for her roles on Disney Channel's Shake It Up and the Freeform show Famous in Love. "I love you so much @MODSUN". He wrote: "More awful stories of loss today".

On the same day, Bella revealed that she didn't know what caused the traffic jam.

Despite Bella's mea culpa, her boyfriend chose to defend her name, as he called out Rob on his Instagram story.

As the rainwater made its way downhill with gathering force, it pried boulders from the ground and picked up trees and other debris that flattened homes, cars and carried at least one body a mile away.
