Nintendo diehards will also be happy to know that a big Detective Pikachu amiibo is also coming out. Detective Pikachu will hopefully get to the bottom of Nintendo's long running amiibo stock issues when the game releases for North America and Europe on March 23.
"Tim and this gruff, coffee-drinking Pikachu have teamed up to investigate the disappearance of Tim's father". The collectible will unlock short videos that could help point you in the right direction for a case you're working on, so it's not entirely just for show or to see just how big is too big for an amiibo.
It's nearly twice as tall as a regular Pikachu amiibo!
Detective Pikachu originally launched in Japan back in 2016, but now its finally being localized!
Reynolds will not be part of the game, however. I'm nearly more excited for the Amiibo than the game.
Kylie Jenner is Allegedly in Labor
The " Life of Kylie " star is not due this month, according to the sources, and she hasn't gone into premature labor either. Jenner won't talk about it, and neither will her sisters, which is odd for a family so devoted to broadcasting their lives.
The Detective Pikachu movie is set for release on May 10, 2019.
To coincide with the game launching, Nintendo will also be releasing a special oversized Detective Pikachu Amiibo on March 23rd, complete with Sherlock Holmes-ian cloche hat (And some major league finger pointing action worthy of Phoenix Wright himself).
The Detective Pikachu movie that was announced previous year, staring Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) and written by Nicole Perlman (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Alex Hirsch (Gravity Falls), however, won't release until 2019. The trailer suggests that some of the supporting players may even try to derail Tim and Detective Pikachu's investigation. Together, Tim and Detective Pikachu will encounter a number of mysteries in Ryme City and will need to talk to witnesses and gather their testimony in order to discover the truth.
The game also features an Easy Mode, where the title character will provide handy hints on what to do or where to go next.
