Since Reeds Ferry Market opened at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, dozens of excited regulars have stopped by the small, independent convenience store in New Hampshire that sold the winning Powerball ticket to congratulate the owner and chat about the win, store owner Sam Safa said.
The jackpot-winning quick-pick ticket was at Daly's Topaz on the Letterkenny Road, in Lifford, Co. The elated store owner, Austin Daly, said: "I can not believe it".
The luck didn't stop there for Donegal as a ticket bought in Carndonagh matched five numbers and the bonus, winning a player €283,274.
"There are 55 million reasons why all Victorian players who had an entry in last night's draw should check their ticket this morning".
The Quick Pick ticket was bought in the filling station yesterday, Saturday 13th January.
