Premier League: Arsene Wenger vows to stick with troubled Arsenal

Wenger vows to stick with Arsenal

There is some good news for Gunners fans however as, according to Sky Sports, local favourite Jack Wilshere is staying put, if veteran manager Arsene Wenger is to be believed.

The 26-year old has less than six months left on his existing deal with the North London outfit and the Bianconeri are looking to pounce on the opportunity to try and sign him on a Bosman transfer at the end of the season.

"Jack interests Juventus and feelers have been put out". He is someone whose game would suit Serie A perfectly'.

Wilshere has made 22 appearances for Arsenal across all competitions so far this season, including an extended run in the Premier League starting XI over recent weeks.

However, as per the Sun and other outlets in England this evening, one club hoping to convince Wilshere to steer clear of a fresh deal at the Emirates are Serie A champions Juventus.

Luka Modric added another and Cristiano Ronaldo contributed two late goals to put a spring back into Madrid's step. We need to secure Champions League football which is important first, and then we need to grow in confidence.

Wilshere came through the ranks at Arsenal after joining the club as a schoolboy.

"He was here at the age of ten and has some leadership qualities".

Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis has been pictured in Dortmund to complete a deal for striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to Bild in Germany.

"The fact he has been away and come back. he realises life here is not so bad, maybe". That is important. He can be one of the leaders in the future.

And before the return fixture at the Emirates today, Wenger praised his player's new-found maturity, which has seen him carry a struggling team that is winless in five matches since that success at Selhurst Park. Who would question his love and commitment for the club?
