Square Enix Teases Upcoming Characters For Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Season Pass

Just under a year ago, Square Enix released a Remaster for one of their best RPGs, Final Fantasy XII in the form of The Zodiac Age. When it arrives, it promises 60FPS and compatibility with 21:9 ultra-wide monitors-"Up to three HD monitors can be used for a potential 48 (16x3):9 experience"-as well as New Game Plus and New Game Minus unlocks from the outset". There's also a New Game Plus and New Game Minus mode, and Post-game content modes are now accessible from the beginning of the game.

Other features included in the remastered version are three background music options (original, re-orchestrated and soundtrack) and an option to get max License Points and Gil. This is in addition to Steam Trading Cards. Fans can learn more about the new features the PC version has to offer during special launch program on Thursday, February 2nd at 12:00 a.m.

The game's producer Hiroaki Kato gave some insight into why the PC version took more time to release in relation to the console re-release. This scenario was written by Kazushige Nojima, who was a scenario writer, scenario supervisor, and director on various Square Enix titles (including Final Fantasy 7).

The Gambit System is the ground-breaking combat system which utilizes customizable AI "gambits" to let players to adapt to any situation during battle. This sounds like the way to play, at least on paper. The game will be available with a 20 percent discount during the first week of release on Steam.
