Former Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) is throwing his hat into the ring for OH governor, joining six other Democrats vying for the seat.
A well-known face in OH just filed to run for governor of the Buckeye State.
Kucinich spokesman Andy Juniewicz said in a statement Tuesday that the paperwork establishing a campaign committee was not Kucinich's formal declaration and that the former congressman had yet to make an official announcement.

He was mayor of Cleveland from 1977 to 1979.
He failed to hang on to his spot in Congress after redistricting helped push him into a 2012 race against another sitting Democrat. There are six Democratic candidates already in the race, but as a former presidential candidate and commentator on Fox News, he would likely be the best known of the group.
Most of the attention on the Democratic side of the race to succeed term-limited Republican Gov. John Kasich has been on Cordray, including support from some national figures like Mass. Sen. Joe Schiavoni, Ohio Supreme Court Justice Bill O'Neill and former state Rep. Connie Pillich.
