Reuben Foster, who just finished his rookie season with the San Francisco 49ers, was arrested and charged with second degree possession of marijuana, according to the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office arrest database.
In order to draft Foster, the 49ers dealt their second-round pick (No. 34 overall) and a fourth-rounder acquired from the Chicago Bears earlier on draft night (No. 111 overall) to the Seattle Seahawks for pick No. 31.
He was the NFL's Defensive Rookie of the Month in November.
Foster, now a member of the San Francisco 49ers, remained in jail on $2,500 bond as of 10 p.m. His urine sample was found to have been diluted, which was treated the same as a positive test.

He asks, "Can I have some of the queen's waters?" In a statement, Matthews offered a mea culpa for the remark. Politico reported in December that Matthews was formally reprimanded for sexual harassment in 1999.
The charge likely won't cost Foster a massive fine from the National Football League, but according to Joel Corry of CBS Sports, it has the potential to cost Foster money down the road.
"We spoke with Reuben about that and felt comfortable about that situation, as well", Lynch said at the time.
The University of Alabama product played 10 games for San Francisco this season, all starts. He suffered an ankle injury during Week 1, which forced him to miss the next five games.
