Philadelphia 76ers' Jahlil Okafor prior to a game against the Atlanta Hawks on November 1, 2017. That KG/Pierce trade was seriously one of the worst trades in the history of the National Basketball Association.
The Philadelphia 76ers have traded Jahlil Okafor, Nik Stauskas and a 2019 second-round pick (via the New York Knicks) to the Brooklyn Nets for Trevor Booker on Thursday afternoon, according to Zach Lowe and Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
For the Sixers, there is no doubt that this trade has lifted a cloud that has been hovering the organization for the previous year and a half.
With the Nets struggling to hit their three-point shots, ranking 24th in three-point percentage with 35.4 percent, Stauskas can earn his minutes by doing what he does best in knocking down threes. The former first-round pick by the Sacramento Kings has only played in six games this season.
"I know it's business, but in my eyes, I don't know if it's good business".
A New Tomb Raider Game To Be Revealed in 2018
There have been rumors for some time that a new Tomb Raider is in development; however, Square Enix had not commented on it. The current reboot series began with the release of Tomb Raider in 2013, followed by Rise of the Tomb Raider in 2015.
I hope Stauskus and Okafor revive their careers in Brooklyn, they will certainly get more opportunities to do so.
Okafor has been a disappointment for the 76ers since the team drafted him third overall in 2015, and never quite fit into what they wanted to do on the floor.
"This is my third year in the National Basketball Association, and I know it's a business", Okafor said.
While this move may not sit well with some Sixers fans, they must take a moment and familiarize themselves with Booker.
