Rosalie won't survive, however, with the 13-year-old set to be taken off life support on Tuesday afternoon (NZ time).
"My daughter is a victim of bullying... the world lost a treasure", Charlene Avila, her mother wrote on a GoFundMe page after Rosalie's death. "And it said, 'Sorry, Mom, you're gonna find me like this, '" Freddie tearfully recalled.
The teen had left a letter apologizing to her family where she also referred to herself as a "loser" and "ugly".
"I'm sorry mum and dad, I love you", she wrote.
"I'm here today angry because my daughter is no longer with me and angry because of these bullies continuing to bully", says Freddie Avila.
Addressing those faceless persons responsible for the post, Charlene said, "For you to do that, I mean, you're heartless".
Details of the bullying have emerged following the discovery of Rosalie's journal, which her parents have since handed over to police. "The braces are going to come off", and she said, "Yeah, but my teeth are straight and they're still making fun of me'".
India Services PMI falls to 50.3 in November as business activity slows
The services sector is more labor-intensive than manufacturing, and policymakers are counting on it to create more jobs. The composite Services PMI data put out by Nikkei on Tuesday stood at 50.3 in November as compared to 51.3 in October.
Rosalie's aunt has accused officials at Mesa View Middle School of being aware of the ongoing bullying. According to KCBS, someone sent Avila's parents an image on social media that read, "Hey mom".
It then showed her face cut out and put onto a body who was giving a thumbs down to a bed, saying 'Next time don't tuck me in this, ' and then the her face onto a body pointing at an open grave with the words 'Tuck me in THIS.' DailyMail.com has made the editorial decision not to show the meme out of respect for Rosalie's grieving family. "I woke up and there was screaming", father Freddie said, remembering the moment he discovered what his daughter had done. Charlene and Freddie are still trying to come to terms with what happened to their precious daughter, and they admit they "don't know" what ultimately went wrong.
The family will take her off life support and plan to donate her organs.
The middle school released a statement in the days after her death to say grief counselors will be available to anyone who needs them.
'Now, I just have to think about what she could have done or what she could have become, now it's just a memory'. She was a attractive person inside and out.
As CrimeOnline previously reported, the heartbroken father revealed that he found his daughter hanging in her room on November 28. "She was a great artist, very lovable (and) loving". She's very smart and always had good grades... She loved the beach & liked going out to the snow. She was a handsome person inside and out. He said she's been bullied for years and the district isn't doing enough to keep her safe. She was daddy's girl and mommy's princess.
Her family is now raising money for her funeral expenses with GoFundMe. She wanted to be a lawyer and wanted to help the world to be a better place.
