Overwatch's Winter Wonderland event returns December 12

Blizzard just released a new Developer Update video detailing the second coming of the Winter Wonderland event for Overwatch. "I was absolutely blown away when I saw the work that they had done and we really hope that you enjoy that".

Since the game released in May of previous year, Overwatch has continued to grow its playerbase with new characters, cosmetics, and a continued focus on special limited run events, with the next in-game event to begin right around the holidays.

Apart from the new game mode, Winter Wonderland will also see new legendary skins for Hanzo, Junkrat, and Roadhog, as well as some festive makeovers to maps including the Black Forest, King's Row, and Hanamura.

Additionally, Kaplan says Overwatch's Black Forest map is getting a new holiday makeover.

Shazam! Casts IT Actor as DC Comics' Captain Marvel Jr
Without Black Adam, the most well known villain for the hero, there aren't many villains left for Shazam to tussle with. DC's Shazam is continuing to gain momentum on the road to filming, as a major casting has been announced.

Winter Wonderland's newest mode unfolds across Overwatch's Nepal Village map and pits five Meis against one yeti-themed Winston, all controlled by different players. The latter will be getting the appropriate holiday decorations along with Kings Row and Hanamura who got theirs past year. In addition, there is the Mei snowball fight mode as well.

Once enough meat has been devoured, Winston's Primal Rage mode will activate and the tables will turn. In Mei's Yeti Hunt, each Mei will also have a special ice trap ability alongside her usual repertoire. When the game begins, the Meis must attempt to hunt down and eliminate Winston, while he does he best to avoid detection and snaffle up as many meat power-ups as he can.

Overwatch Winter Wonderland 2017 will drop on December 12. If he fully charges it up, the Meis will need to do whatever they can to escape.
