No White Christmas This Year

No White Christmas This Year

SLUSHY ROADS FOR SUNDAY NIGHTTonight the spotty showers could mix in with some freezing rain. That high will move across the state on Tuesday and after some early fog, skies on Tuesday will be mostly sunny for most of the day and temperatures will become even milder than Monday. Still, above-average temperatures are expected for Wednesday and Thursday, with highs in the 60s. This upcoming week is less active in the way of snowfall with only a few chances for snow showers late in the week. Our clouds will increase through the overnight hours, becoming partly to mostly cloudy by the morning hours. It was a mainly cloudy day with a few hints of sunshine.

Decreasing cloud cover will be ushered in for tonight.

Tuesday through Thursday will be drier with a mix of sun and clouds. Highs into the 40s to near 50 degrees! Rain showers should get hung up across western Pennsylvania. Watch for some patchy dense fog to develop overnight as well. Highs top out in the low 50s. This cold front is set to bring some of the coldest air of the season, just in time for Christmas. We will also be out ahead of a cold front moving in from the west. Look for increasing clouds with a chance for a little rain late Friday night as the cold front inches closer. Expect plenty of showers from what looks like a nice soaking for Saturday.
