"With the preview of Microsoft Whiteboard, you can use intelligent ink that recognizes your freeform drawings and turns them into standard shapes, so it's easy to create great-looking tables, diagrams, and flowcharts", the company explained in a blog post.
Whiteboard is, at its core, a collaboration app.
Analyst Opinion Summary: CubeSmart (CUBE), Petroleo Brasileiro SA - Petrobras (PBR-A)
The company's 20-Day Simple Moving Average is measured to be -3.32% with its 200-Day Simple Moving average wandering at 5.65%. The S&P 500 information technology index.SPLRCT barely rose overnight as it gave up much of the 1.4 percent intraday gains.
If unfamiliar, Whiteboard is a collaborative app that allows a team to work on a project together as if they were in the same room, throwing out ideas on a digital equivalent of a dry erase whiteboard.
No word on whether or when the application may go to other working frameworks, yet given Microsoft's portable technique recently, I wouldn't be excessively stunned, making it impossible to see it land on Android and iOS gadgets not long from now. Focused on pen and touch input, the app comes with a slew of built-in inking tools, including rulers and various pen styles. Now that it's in public preview, more users and organizations will be able to test the app out ahead of its full, official launch.
The appropriately named Whiteboard app is rolling out in a public preview today. The company said the new app will replace the native Surface Hub whiteboard app when it becomes generally available in a "few months". The app is free to use for anyone with a Windows 10 device, but one participant with an Office 365 personal, work, or school account is needed for multi-party collaboration.
