Mario + Rabbids gets a free versus mode tomorrow

Let's not forget that Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle will continue to expand via the Season Pass, set to bring more single-player content in the new year!

Mario and his friends will use hundreds of never-before-seen weapons to strategically take out enemies in true Rabbids style - with the occasional well-timed misfire.

Turns go back and forth with players getting three actions per turn, making the biggest challenge the most presents. Utilizing combat tactics and the cover system, players will explore the four unique worlds with their team of heroes defeating foes, gathering collectibles and solving puzzles along their quest. Each team receives three tickets per turn, and one ticket is used up each time any of your three characters moves, attacks, or uses an ability.

Ubisoft is challenging their Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle players to check just how sharp their skills are in the new co-op Versus mode that arrives tomorrow, December 8.

Versus Mode will be playable locally between two players (by either using two controllers or one pair of Joy-Con controllers), but will contain some surprises that are different than the main game. Each character comes with its own unique pre-sets, including specific statistics and skills, so you can create your own winning strategy.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Versus Mode will be available to download on Nintendo Switch from December 8, 2017. The Showtime option that turns on later in the game can power up regular items into "super" items as well, offering additional ways to complete certain objectives.
