Another woman says Franken tried to forcibly kiss her in 2006: report

Earlier Wednesday morning the latest accuser had stepped forward, saying that Franken had tried to forcibly kiss her. Wednesday morning also was the release of Time magazine's Person of the Year, which went to "The Silence Breakers," women and men who had stepped forward about being sexually assaulted and harassed.

Franken, in his statement, said the idea he would claim such conduct as a right as an entertainer was "preposterous".

The woman, who spoke to Politico, claims the Minnesota Democrat pursued her after her boss had left and she was collecting her things.

"I believe the best thing for Senator Franken to do is step down", Harris added. Franken, a former "Saturday Night Live" performer who was a host on the now-defunct "Air America" radio network at the time, allegedly followed up by telling her it was his "right as an entertainer".

Two women, who asked to remain anonymous, have told the Huffington Post that Franken squeezed their buttocks at political events during his first campaign for the Senate in 2008.

Last month, Los Angeles anchor and model Leeann Tweeden accused Franken of trying to kiss her and groping her breasts while she slept during a USO tour.

Franken has apologized for his behavior but he has disputed some of the allegations.
