Longview transit has announced it will be providing a "safe-ride-home" on New Year's Eve for the tenth consecutive year.
State and local police will be out in full force making sure folks are not drinking and driving.
According to Longview Transit Director of Operations Tequita Mumphrey, "Longview Transit has been providing Safe-Ride-Home transportation on New Year's Eve for nine years now, and it continues to be a great service for the community".
"Definitely take a taxi, UBER, Lyft. any of those services, definitely take advantage of those".
"If you're in a crowded area, my suggestion is to walk a couple of blocks away so your driver can find you easily", Gresham said, "Our drivers don't know what riders look like, but at least our riders know what kind of auto we have and we look like".
