Reportedly, 11 top visual effects studios have been working on the Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar film.
It looks like fans will have to wait longer before they can watch the Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0. Allu Arjun's Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India and Mahesh Babu's Bharath Ane Nenu were slotted to release in April.
2 militants, soldier killed, civilian hurt in Qazigund gunfight
Army spokesman Col Rajesh Kalia confirmed the killing of the soldier and two militants. "The operation is nearly over", he said. Cops said the militant who were killed during the encounter was a Pakistani national belonging to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) outfit.
On Saturday, the makers of 2.0 had revealed that they will release the film in April 2017. Khiladi Kumar said, "There is a lot of false information that is being circulated over both films releasing on the same day. The high-tech post-production works are fully geared and the team is all set for the release schedule". Taking into consideration the severity of the situation, "2.0" makers have chose to postpone the film's release. Two highly anticipated films - 2.0 (Robot 2) and Kaala is expected to hit the screens next year. "If they do, I will postpone Padman and if they don't, I will go ahead". Whereas 2.0 is a sci-fi film by Shankar. On the other side Rajinikanth has completed the shooting of his film Kaala and according to sources Rajinikanth is also going to release this film on Independence day 2018.
Interestingly, 2.0 will have a face-off with Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War since it is also releasing on April 27, 2018 in India.
