Motorola Moto X4 India launch set for November 13

After postponing the October 3 launch of the Moto X smartphone in India, Motorola has now revealed that the phone will finally arrive in the country on November 13. The device was supposed to be launched on October 4th, however, the date got pushed back.

The report surrounding the Indian launch date of Moto X4 surfaced on Twitter on Monday. ALong with this, this, the smartphone comes with Amazon Alexa voice assistant in addition to Google's Assistant.

It can also be noted here that there is an Android One variant of the Moto X4 in the USA which doesn't have Amazon Alexa as an optional smart assistant along with Moto's tweaks.

The price of the Motorola Moto X4 in Europe is Euro 399, which translates to Rs. 30,500. The device will be available in Super Black and Sterling Blue colour options. The smartphone has a fingerprint scanner integrated into its home button, much like other Motorola smartphones released in 2017. Billed as successors to the Moto G5 and the Moto G5 Plus smartphones, the new "Special Edition" smartphones run on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box and sport metal unibody design.

To brief you about the specifications, the phone features a 5.2-inch full HD LTPS IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The device is powered by 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC coupled with 3GB RAM. The 12MP sensor features f/2.0 aperture and 1.4um sensor size, while the 8MP lens has an ultra-wide angle with 120-degree field of view sensor, f/2.2 aperture and 1.12um pixel size. The camera also features phase-detection, dual-tone LED flash and has some interesting modes like bokeh effect, selective black and white, background change and 4K video recording. The front camera is a 16MP one with flash.

The Moto X4 draws power from a 3,000 mAh battery which supports fast charging. Network alternatives incorporate NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz, dual band, and 5GHz), 4G LTE, GPS, GLONASS, and FM radio support. The device measures 7.99mm in thickness and weigh 163grams.
