A mother accused of killing her children waived her first appearance in court on Monday morning.
Police told the Journal-Constitution that Williams claimed that she left the three children with a caregiver last Friday around noon. Atlanta police spokesman John Chafee said investigators, after interviewing witnesses and examining evidence, don't believe she left them with anyone.
"I ain't got no soul no more, ' Penn, the boys" father, tearfully told WSB-TV during a vigil with friends and family Saturday night.
But law enforcement is not believing Williams' story, the Journal-Constitution said.
Police are still investigating and the cause of death is unknown at this time.
A third child, 3 years old, was found alive in the apartment.
The arrest warrant alleges Williams put her sons in the oven sometime between midnight Thursday and 11 p.m. Friday.

It is reported that an oven has been removed from the apartment as part of the investigation.
The boys, ages 2 and 1 were found dead late Friday night.
Williams' longtime friend Neesa Smith said Williams quit a job about a month ago because she couldn't find a babysitter for the kids.
Williams' sister, Tabitha Hollingsworth, said the suspect had a history of mental health issues, which she said governmental agencies did not take seriously enough to ensure she received the proper diagnosis and treatement.
Penn, who is separated from Williams, said he would see the children on weekends.
Neighbors said the apartment "smelled like death". A smell, investigators say indicate the bodies may have been inside for a few days. It was not immediately known if she had an attorney.
