Trump's speech at the United Nations General Assembly in NY earlier this week warned that the USA may be forced to "totally destroy" the North.

A day earlier, Trump announced new sanctions on North Korea that aim to cut off sources of revenue for the regime's nuclear and missile programs. It will further escalate the war of words between the adversaries as the North moves closer to perfecting a nuclear-tipped missile that could strike America.

China is the biggest ally of North Korea with nearly 90% of global trade in the small country.

In recent months, North Korea has launched a pair of intercontinental missiles believed capable of striking the continental USA and another pair that soared over Japanese territory. Gen. Kim Rak Gyom, commander of the North's strategic rocket forces, was quoted new report from the state broadcaster as saying Trump had showed his "senility" again.

The analyst concluded by saying that North Korea's "belligerent rhetoric" stems from its concern about U.S. threats of regime change and the complete destruction of the country.
