Security forces on Saturday foiled a infiltration bid in the Machil sector of Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district and killed two terrorists, ANI reported.

He said weapons and warlike store were recovered from the encounter site.

Earlier in the day, Pakistan for the second time in the past 24 hours violated the ceasefire in Arnia sector of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K). No casualties or loss reported.

"The troops deployed along the LoC noticed the movement of militants and fired on them. Two militants killed", a Srinagar-based army spokesperson said.

The Machil and Naugam sectors in Kupwara district, Uri sector in Baramulla district and Gurez sector in Bandipora district of north Kashmir happen to be traditional routes of infiltration for militants.
