Apple's annual autumn event kicked off showcasing a TON of new hardware including the Apple TV 4K, the iPhone 8, the iPhone 8 Plus, and the brand new iPhone X. But the company also introduced a new version of its wearable: the Apple Watch Series 3. Thanks to a new W2 chip strengthening the battery, Apple Watches can now work with cellular.

The speciality of this year is that Apple just unveiled three iPhones instead of two, including the iPhone X, which is easily the most exciting model, notch controversy included. And yes, you'll be able to make phone calls from the Series 3. Something like a Siri query - probably the thing you want to do the most on your Watch - will take way longer, as data has to be uploaded to the server and the response returned. The ability to stream music is coming to your waterproof watch, too.
Like the Series 2, the Watch 3 has a dual-core processor, but Apple says it's a whopping 70% faster. This is a positive, as the new Apple Watches are still compact and comfortable to wear. It'll use the same phone number as your iPhone, so you won't require an additional line. Apple Watch's third series will launch a week later, on September 22.
