Sharp Aquos S2 Bezel-less Smartphone with Dual Rear Cameras Launched in China Officially Launched by Teja Chedalla 3 hours ago5

SHARP AQUOS S2 is priced at 2499 yuan for the Snapdragon 630, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version.

The Sharp Aquos S2 is an decent-sounding device for everything it has similar to its opponents. But for some reason, Sharp has chosen to cut off the S2's corners. See that device (with cracked display and everything) in an article on SlashGear from earlier today called iPhone 8 design leak: can Android phones compete? The screen wraps around the front facing camera and bears a striking resemblance to the Essential Phone which is curious because that phone isn't even out yet. Unfortunately, Sharp Aquos S2 is limited to the Chinese smartphone market at the moment.

Sharp said that the main feature of the smartphone display a special form which allows not to change the usual location of the front camera.

Spotify for Xbox One available from today
You'll find the Spotify Music for Xbox One app in the Entertainment menu, under " All apps " when it's released today. Spotify's Xbox One features the same user-interface as it's Android TV and PlayStation 4 apps.

The smartphone features a 5.5-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2040 pixels and 55 nits brightness along with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection. However, you still get a 3,030 mAh battery which is plentiful, especially considering that the phone is powered by Qualcomm's mid-range Snapdragon 660 (8x Kryo 260; 2.2GHz + 1.8GHz; 14nm) or Snapdragon 630 (8x ARM Cortex A53; 2.2GHz + 1.8GHz; 14nm), depending on which of the two price tiers you're going for. It's a dual-camera setup, with two f/1.75 lenses, placed vertically in the corner of the phone with the flash beneath them.

Aquos S2 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with Nougat shell Android 7.0. Overall, it seems that Sharp found the sweet spot in giving the Aquos S2 standout from the crowd. Sensors on the device include a Proximity sensor, Ambient Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Fingerprint (front-mounted), Gyroscope and E-compass sensor. Both the chipset variants will offer additional storage options that can be expanded using the microSD card slot. Apart from this, both smartphones are more or less the same; featuring a dual camera module at the back composed of a 12-megapixel and an 8-megapixel sensor. It also supports Bluetooth 5, Quick Charge 4 and USB-C 3.1, but it is up to the manufacturer to make them available to the user.

The dimensions of this phone measure 141.8 x 72.04 x 7.9mm and weight 140g.
