Trump replaces chief of staff

Priebus out, Gen. John F. Kelly named new White House chief of staff

Trump replaces chief of staff

President Trump tweeted this afternoon that he has named a new chief of staff. Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly now takes that job.

Kelly is replacing former chief of staff Reince Priebus. "He's a great American".

The U.S. President had lost confidence in Priebus, privately questioning his competence after major legislative items failed to pass the U.S. Congress, a Trump confidant said. "The conversations about this started with the president and Reince about two weeks ago", Sanders told reporters. "I will refrain in this arena but not give up the passionate fight" for President Donald Trump's agenda. "I can't think of a better person than Gen John Kelly to succeed me and I wish him God's blessings and great success".

But while many were expecting that Mr Sessions would resign as Mr Trump continued to criticise his decision to recuse himself from the investigation into Russian Federation, in the last 24 hours it emerged that Mr Priebus had become very vulnerable. On Thursday, the USA president made the appointment Twitter official and expressed his high hopes for the new White House member.

The leak of the dinner to the media was the subject of White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci's now infamous obscenity-laden phone call to Ryan Lizza of the New Yorker.

White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, right, departs after a Republican caucus meeting on Capitol Hill, Thursday, March 23, 2017, in Washington.

Fans showed they are disappointed with the situation but the Tottenham fans love him really", Pochettino told reporters. They are yet to win a major trophy since the League Cup triumph in 2008.

Priebus also assured Hannity, "I'm going to be on Team Trump all the time". "When I said we were brothers, from the podium, that's because we're rough on each other".

Priebus made the trip back and was seen getting out of Air Force One and joined the motorcade back to the White House, even though he had been replaced.

I think we're all hoping that "Reince Penis" comes out mistakenly during Scaramucci's next on-camera interview. Vos said he feel the choice to resign is a good move for Priebus personally.

"I thank you for the opportunity to serve as your Secretary. I'm always going to be a Trump fan", Mr Priebus added.

Still, Priebus helped Trump bridge the divide with many establishment Republicans during the general election and into Trump's tenure as president, serving as a key bridge between the outsider President and the insider politics he found himself at the center of.

He said Kelly will do a "fantastic job".
