An official portrait of Prince George has been released to mark his fourth birthday taken at Kensington Palace ahead of his birthday on Saturday, the media reported.

The photo was taken in June at Kensington Palace by Getty Photographer Chris Jackson.

Previous year during their royal tour of Canada, Charlotte wore the same blue cardigan that George had worn 18 months earlier.

During a scheduled visit to Poland on Wednesday, Princess Charlotte showed her appreciation to her gracious hosts and debuted a tiny, heart-melting curtsy, which, lucky for us, was captured on video.

"I'm thrilled and honoured that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen to release this portrait to celebrate Prince George's fourth birthday".

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their two children yesterday visited the Airbus compound in Hamburg, where the helicopters are estimated at nearly $20 million, on the last day of their royal tour.

It's her brother's birthday today but all eyes were on Princess Charlotte after she erupted into an adorable mini-tantrum at Hamburg airport last night.

Jackson has been snapping away this week on the Cambridge tour of Poland and Germany, which wraps up Friday.

When the family arrived in Berlin, Charlotte received a mini bouquet upon arrival and curtseyed her thank you at the Duchess of Cambridge's prompting.
