Miles Teller was arrested in San Diego just after midnight Sunday morning after police say he was drunk in public.

A police officer reportedly noticed that Miles was having difficulty standing on a sidewalk after partying with friends. The cop asked Teller questions and the situation quickly escalated.

Upon questioning, Teller became uncooperative with police and lost his balance, almost falling into the street. The police officer then put Teller in handcuffs.

The paper said Teller was taken to a detox center but was uncooperative, "so officers took him to jail.where he was booked on suspicion of being drunk in public".

The FBI said it was investigating the shooter's "activities and social media impressions" in the months leading up to the attack . Hodgkinson was shot by law enforcement officers after opening fire at the early morning practice of a Republican baseball team.

TMZ reported that the "War Dogs" actor was "literally falling down drunk and refusing to cooperate with cops" during his arrest on June 18. The cops offered to take Miles to the center and he refused, though they took him there anyways.

According to the report, Teller was deemed unable to take care of himself and brought to a local detox facility to sleep off his intoxication.

Reps for Teller did not immediately respond to Cosmopolitan.com's request for comment.

He was in jail for about four hours before he was released.
