President Donald Trump had personal liabilities of at least $315.6 million to German, U.S. and other lenders as of mid-2017, according to a federal financial disclosure form released late on Friday by the U.S. Office of Government Ethics.

He also reported United States dollars 37.2 million in income in the past year from Mar-a-Lago, the private Florida resort where he hosted the president of China and ordered missile strikes against Syria.

The US Office of Government Ethics published this evening (Saturday) a report containing US President Donald Trump's financial disclosure.

It is the first snapshot of the Trump Organization's finances since he became president. He can take back control of the trust at any time.

The Trump International Hotel, housed in the Old Post Office building down the street from the White House, has seen a burst of activity since opening its doors last fall.

But since Trump has broken presidential precedent by refusing to release his taxes, it's the closest look into his investments the public has gotten so far.

Trump's management fees from Indonesian companies tied to two planned resorts there more than doubled. The report also showed that Mr Trump earned more on royalties for his book Art of the Deal since becoming President. It's been a location for inaugural, foreign, diplomatic, and business interest events.

He had roughly US$20 million in income from his Washington hotel, which opened just down the street from the White House a year ago.

The hotel is cited in three separate lawsuits arguing that Trump is violating the Constitution's "emoluments" clause, a ban on foreign gifts and payments.
