Pokemon GO Revamping Gyms, Adding Co-op Raids

The new Pokemon Go Gym closures kick off soon

NIANTICThe new Pokemon Go Gym closures kick off soon

The details on the Pokemon Go Gym remodeling have now been revealed and there's plenty to be excited about.

The upcoming update is being billed as the biggest yet, which is planned to completely revamp the Gym system. Gym conquerors will also earn badges which can be leveled up for use at Pokestops in order to get better items. Rather they feature six permanent slots that can be filed by the controlling team's Pokemon and each Pokemon should be unique. The opposing team will also fight these Pokemon in the order they appear in the list. Gyms, though, are about to get more accessible, and you'll soon be able to team up with friends to go on raids against mega-powerful Pokemon. Trainers can also give berries to help defend the overall combat points of the gym. In the days to follow, more players will be added and Raid Battles will be activated at more gyms around the world until the team is ready to launch it fully. You can get a free Raid Pass by visiting a gym, but you can only hold one at a time (though Premium Raid Passes are available from the in-game shop). Defeating the boss means a chance to catch a powerful Pokemon, and exclusive items like rare sweets, golden razz berries and a fast attack or charged attack technical machine. "If a Pokemon loses all motivation, it will leave the Gym and return to its Trainer the next time it loses a battle, so you'll want to keep your team's Pokemon motivated by giving them Berries frequently". The higher your Badge level, the more bonus items and additional rewards you receive.

Is White House trying to soften Congress' pressure over sanctions against Russian Federation ?
Sanders says he's anxious the legislation, which also includes sanctions against Iran, could hurt the Iranian nuclear deal. The amendment requires congressional review before any sanctions are lifted, and allows for new ones.

You can run raid battles in a private group as well. Once you've defeated the raid Pokemon within the 5 minute time period, you'll have a chance to catch it for yourself!

Starting today, Niantic is temporarily shutting down Pokémon GO gyms in preparation for the forthcoming Solstice celebration. Considering that these raid battles will be against Pokemon you wouldn't otherwise see in the game, this will be how we'll finally be able to capture legendary Pokemon. Additionally, these Pokemon will drop valuable new items, including Golden Razz Berries (a more powerful version of the Razz Berry), Rare Candies (wildcard candies and can be used on any Pokemon), and the much-anticipated Technical Machines.
