Microsoft's new keyboard will be compatible with Windows 10, MacOS and also with Android OS.

As you can see in the video above, Microsoft has included a fingerprint sensor integrated into the right-most Windows key for interactions with Windows Hello.

It's primarily a wireless Bluetooth keyboard, but can be connected to a computer using a wired connection instead. As Microsoft awaits more companies to produce the necessary camera arrangements to fully support its Windows Hello biometric pitch, the company appears prepared to continue providing authentication methods its users are most comfortable with. The fingerprint scanner has been placed on the second Windows key on the right side of the keyboard, and can be used for signing in to the system or any website using Windows Hello.

Once set up, users simply have to press their finger against the key to unlock their device. That being said the Surface Keyboards still come stamped with the Surface branding.

It has a range of around 50 feet (15 metres) in open air, up to 23 feet (seven metres) in a typical office environment.

As for the Modern Mouse, it really looks a lot better than past models, with a smooth, rounded aesthetic, almost invisible buttons and a metal scroll wheel.

Another highlight of this Modern Keyboard will have to be the fact that one can use it either in wired or wireless mode, whichever they desire.

Touch ID on the MacBook Pro, and now Microsoft's new Modern Keyboard, cuts out the need to type in your password to log in to your computer. Both Surface and Modern keyboards look identical.

The laptop weighs 2.76 pounds, and features a 14.47mm back, and 9.9mm front.
