Larson outlasts Elliott at Michigan again

"I can't thank him enough for shoving me like that". It was cool to win it.

"Yeah, just a long day overall", said Jones, a native of Byron, Mich. My dad is here today, too, so I'm looking forward to celebrating with him.

"I was just hoping we could build some momentum - Ryan (Blaney) and I - to get the run we needed to basically play chicken getting into (the turn)", Larson said. "All-in-all, it's a good season so far and we'll continue to keep building on what we've got". Joey Logano finished third, with Denny Hamlin in fourth, and Jamie McMurray in fifth.

"Ryan Blaney gave me a heck of a push", Larson said.

Larson, with four tires, restarted eighth and catapulted to second by the time a caution came out for debris with 21 to go. Larson went inside to pass Busch on the restart four laps later.

"I'm not sure we had a third-place vehicle today, but the team executed like they needed to get the Shell-Pennzoil Ford into the top three". However, with where he was positioned when he came out of the pits, he was going to start on the inside lane. Hes one point behind Martin Truex Jr., driver of the No. 78 Toyota and teammate of Jones.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. created a stir in early June when he named 10 drivers to watch after he retires at the end of this season. Truex also leads the series with stage wins (eight) and playoff points (18).

Kasey Kahne, Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, Jimmie Johnson and Kyle Larson own one MI win apiece.

"We had the best vehicle out there without a doubt", Truex said. On Sunday, tickets for children 12 and under start at $15.

When a spotter or camera sees something thought to be debris, he said, "If we are actually able to identify what it is and feel like it's something that is OK to leave out there, then we'll do it". "Since I've been in Cup, we haven't had a good offseason".

Ex-Chelsea midfielder Oscar sparks mass brawl in Shanghai
On the other hand, NAIJ.com recently visited the streets to find out when a person walk out of an abusive relationship. Former Chelsea player Oscar sparked a 50-man brawl during a Chinese Super League match on Sunday afternoon.

On lap 151, Larson pitted and made a decision to take on four tires while some others chose to take two tires. "Just inside lane restarts at the end killed us, so it just stinks when you have to race like that, you know?" It marked his second consecutive victory at Michigan International Speedway. We had a little bit of a mistake the first lap but after that the second and third rounds were really good. Kenseth, who was battling Larson for the lead, pit on Lap 107 and overshot his pit loosing six-seconds on pit road.

Larson posted a lap of 202.156 miles per hour in his No. 42 Chevrolet. It was Larson's second win of the season, second win at MI and third career win in the NASCAR Monster Energy Cup series (all at two-mile tracks).

Martin Truex Jr. and the Furniture Row Racing team showed strength all throughout the afternoon at the 2.0-mile oval. "I figured there'd be a caution as soon as I got the lead the first time", Larson said.

Then Clint Bowyer went into the wall, bringing out another caution flag.

The veteran, who drives for a two-car operation based out of Colorado, holds two victories, five top five and 11 top 10 finishes in 2017. Daniel Suarez had to start in the back because of an unapproved tire change.

Hamlin will try to add another win for Joe Gibbs Racing when he competes in Sunday's Cup race. Ty Dillon wound up in the back after his qualifying attempt on Friday was disallowed because of an unapproved body modification.

The Cup gang returns to MIS for the Pure Michigan 400 on August 13.

The 2-mile MIS oval produced a first-time victor in August 2016 when Kyle Larson took the checkered flag in the No. 42 Chevrolet.

Reed is now sixth in the NASCAR Xfinity Series standings, but he is not a complete novice in a Cup vehicle.
