Arsenal will the 2015/16 Premier League champions, Leicester City, at home on the opening day of the season.

Premier League teams discovered their full fixture list ahead of the 2017-18 season on Wednesday morning but it would have made for grim reading for Arsene Wenger, who may already be worrying about player fatigue.

It certainly isn't the most hard opening day fixture for Arsene Wenger and his shiny new contract, but fans and players will be concerned with the sheer amount of fixtures heading their way. That represents the first of five away fixtures to follow European ties, including another hard trip to Manchester City, and making for a potentially hellish few weeks of traveling.

Prosecutors recommended that Curley , who has been fighting lung cancer, be allowed to serve his entire sentence at home . A graduate coaching assistant told administrators that he saw Sandusky molesting a boy in a football team shower in 2001.

It doesn't stop there.

Then it is away to Everton, a trip to the Etihad Stadium to face Pep Guardiola's Manchester City and then journeys to Burnley and Southampton to late November and early December respectively. So now Arsenal are in the Europa League and at least we do not have to do any qualifying games before the competition starts in earnest. We have a large squad with lots of quality for one thing and with the quality of our opponents surely down on what we get in the Champions League you would expect Arsenal to at least get through our group if not win it.

As well as the Premier League, the Community Shield between Chelsea and FA Cup winners Arsenal will be played on August 6th, while the League Cup - now called the Carabao Cup - commences on the week of August 7th. Arsenal have drifted out to 11-1 after being handed a Europa League nightmare. How should Wenger approach the competition?
